Live in concert at Zocalo Café – September 18 2011

Thursday, August 18th, 2011

In support of 2010’s Sounds From The Treeline, Lakefield will be making their debut Island appearance in Victoria, Duncan, and Courtenay this September. Lakefield, composed of Vancouver locals and transplants from Toronto and Edmonton, tells this quintessential Canadian story through 11 tracks on this debut album.

In addition to “exuberance and honesty” (François Marchand, The Vancouver Sun) and “so much sweetness” (Gregory Adams, The Georgia Straight), Lakefield’s stage show will feature homemade, hobby-electronic interactive art & lighting.

To schedule an interview, obtain an album for review or to attend one of these shows for a live review, please contact Shannon Luttmer at Independent Arts.
